There are two levels of membership to the PDN - Community Level and Commercial Level. First of all, you also need to select the 'Join Group' option in the top right of this page.
Community level membership of the Promethean Developer Network is FREE and open to all, including non-commercial and academic users. Joining is easy. Step 1: Register for Promethean Planet so you enjoy all the benefits of Promethean Planet, then log in. Step 2: Navigate to Developers Community and join the PDN Community by clicking on the "Join Group" link in the top right of the PDN banner above. This will allow you to access and download all the PDN files available to community level members including the ActivSDK. You will also be able to post and comment in the forum and comment on the documentation and blogs.
Please note that by Joining the group and downloading the SDK as a 'Community' level member means you bound to the non-commercial member Terms & Conditions for using the SDK, and not allowed to use it for commercial purposes or gain.
Commercial level membership is open only to employees of commercial business enterprises that publish, develop content and technology. Applicants must have verifiable company email addresses and information including a company web site. Commercial Membership gives you access to great, free benefits, such as the ActivSDK, Promethean Developer Guidelines, one free ActivInspire Professional Edition licence key...and more.

Step 1: Follow the steps above to join as a Community Level member. Step 2: Apply for Commercial Level Membership by completing a Commercial Membership application form. When all your details are confirmed, the Promethean Developer Network will finalize your registration and send you a confirmation email with further instructions. This confirmation email is required prior to accessing areas reserved for Commercial PDN members.
