  • Hello product developers!!

    I have a few suggestions.

    1. I would like to see a couple of more options in the basic numaracy section of the question generator in question manager.

I am particularly interested in seeing negative numbers added as an option as well as being able to pose questions using more than one operation that would require students to show knowledge of PEMDAS (orders of operation . . . parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition subtraction).

    2. The summary page layout of the excel spreadsheet would be more easily readable if it reflected teacher gradebooks that are typically aligned vertically rather than horizontally as the summary page is currently exported.  This would also help for teachers who wish to print the excel spreadsheet.

    3. It would be great if a "percentage of students who answered the question correctly" statistic could be added to each question on the second 'question page' of the exported excel spread sheet.

     4.  I know this has nothing to do with LRS . . . . but please please please bring back the fraction maker.  :-)

    Thank you!!

    Kelly

  • I agree- it's pretty sad that a $4,000+ system lacks these basic features. Go talk to Kuta software and integrate with Infinite Algebra/ Infinite Pre-Algebra, please!

  • Kelly,

I completely agree with points #1 and #2.  As for point #3, ActivInspire v 1.6 includes a full equation editor that includes fractions!

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts,

  • Regarding point 2... You can quite easily transpose the horizontal layout into vertical with the Copy Paste features in excel. Just copy the entire data set.... click on a single cell below or to the right of the data set.... then click on the paste options and find the transpose button. It's the two coloured rectangles - one vertical and one horizontal.

This will shift it to something more user friendly. Don't know why they changed it from the old version?
